Salt Marsh Diary began as an occasional nature column in the Shoreline Times in Madison and Guilford. Now, eight years later, it is published weekly reaching an audience of 100,000 households throughout southern Connecticut.
The columns are approximately 500 words and each is accompanied by at least one color photograph. Though ostensibly about wildlife, both writing and photography eschew “every feather perfectly rendered” in favor of an interest in how animals think, how they see themselves, and how they see us.
Newspapers, magazines and online publishers will find an economical route to rich high-level content with the potential for solid reader loyalty in Salt Marsh Diary.
Inquiries should be addressed to Kerry Arnold, syndication@SaltMarshDiary.com. Please include your budgetary requirements, specific rights requested (print, online, single publication or group, etc.). Special consideration is given to conservation organizations, schools, and other non-profits.
